Long-time Saskatoon physician Noel Doig recounts events from the doctors' point of view during the Medicare crisis of 1962. Indie's newest title, Setting the Record Straight, debuted on Thursday, July 5 at McNally Robinson Bookstore and it's success since has been overwhelming. A First for Indie!

Exciting news Indie followers! We have recieved our first grant from the Grant to Publishers Fund! This grant money is for expanding our marketing presence into the US for Blown Away and Setting the Record Straight. Thanks to the Grant to Publishers Fund, and thanks to all of you for your interest and support in our projects and we hope you're as excited as we are to see Indie Ink keep growing and sharing these stories.

When Words Collide you might visit some Strange Places

Jefferson Smith will be at Calgary's writers festival, When Words Collide from August 10-12. Catch him at 8pm on Saturday the 11th as a presenter in the “I'm a Writier” session as well as at 10am on Sunday the 12th for a reading of Strange Places!

Indie at Word on the Street

Indie will be at the Word on the Street festival in Saskatoon on September 23rd. Stop by our booth for book sales and author signings all day, and keep an eye out for the Indie photographer to snap a pic with your favourite Indie titles!

Indie's Up For the Tech Challenge

Indie Ink is among the 10 finalists in the $50,000 Tech Challenge from the University of Saskatchewan Industry Liaison Office. Indie creative catalyst and tech guru Jeff Smith is lead on the initiative with the support of the Indie team over the next few months.
